The Life Center at Southport A place to...Find Eternal Life, Discover Abundant Life, and Simply Enjoy Life! The Life Center at Southport, "Home of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple", is a Worship Center, Youth Center, Sports Center, Concert Center, Education Center, Counseling Center, and Conference and Convention Center, all under one roof! The Life Center at Southport is a place where our community can come and experience the exciting and abundant life we have in Jesus Christ. At the Life Center, lives are changed, life is experienced, and life is enjoyed to its fullest! The Life Center provides a 6,000 square foot Youth Center. Included is a cafe, meeting and game room along with big screen TV's. Teenagers from the 6th through the 12th grade will enjoy activities every Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. we have an exciting Youth program at The Life Center. Everyone is welcome and please bring a friend! The Life Center also facilitates various sporting opportunities and events. These include; Weight Lifting, Body Building, Racquet ball, Tennis, and Basketball, to name a few.  The Life Center is home to many great, family-friendly concerts. The Life Center has hosted Christmas and Easter concerts, Adult, Youth and Children's Choirs, Instrumental concerts, as well as many well known Christian musical groups and soloists. The Life Center features a state of the art sound, recording and multi-media system. David said to "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise". Psalms 98:4. At The Life Center, we do just that! The Life Center is well equipped Conventions, Conferences, Banquets, Weddings, Receptions, Church and Civic functions, and numerous professional gatherings. Among the annual events hosted by the center are Bible Conferences, Missions Conferences and the annual convention of the Unregistered Baptist Fellowship. The Life Center also hosts events and services for home school groups, Heritage Baptist College and other organizations. The Life Center Counseling Service is a community ministry of the Indianapolis Baptist Temple.
